Easter Sunday.
More blossom pictures. I can’t stop. Everything is blooming, the sun keeps coming down in exactly the right doses (warm but not hot, or just a little hot with a breeze), and all I want is to be outside with my family. Walking or hiking or playing in the grass, driving with the windows down and singing silly songs with Echo. Getting dirty and freckled in the sun.
These are from the last walk we took as a family, right before this work week started, and now we’re halfway through it and I’m totally overwhelmed. I have a lot of photo work right now (I’m not complaining; hire me!) and Mike is playing a lot right now (I’m not complaining; check him out!), and so between Echo’s schedule and both our work schedules plus music plus everything else that makes up a life (having friends, filing taxes, getting groceries, paying bills, etc) this is one of those weeks where it seems impossible to get the whole family into a room together for more than an hour. It makes me a little frayed and frustrated.
These weeks always pass, though — the hectic schedules always subside, and we always end up with another precious lazy day of hanging out and wandering around. I know this. Right now I just have to put one foot in front of the other and get through the week.
